(WSP 158)
This interactive workshop has been created for those
who are at a crossroads in their careers, lives, or
entrepreneurial ambitions. Whether due to a layoff,
a desire to branch out into a new industry, or a reentry
into the workplace, this workshop will provide an
inspiring and pragmatic approach to the notion
of reinvention.
Using the stories and hands-on experience featured
in her bestselling books, Bulldog: Spirit of the New
Entrepreneur (HarperCollins) and Ambition—7 Rules
for Getting There (Penguin), the instructor will lead
participants through the process of creating a strategic
and tactical plan that assesses and then combines each
individual’s skill sets and aptitude for risk with their
desire to succeed. Drawing on the seven themes of
“ambition”—Discovery, Focus, Belonging, Momentum,
Balance, Maturity, Belief—students will design individualized
ambition plans according to their own definition
of personal and vocational success.
Due to its short format, this course cannot be taken for Credit.
