(WSP 153)
An obvious truth: you can’t do it all. Managers
need to be strategic about their time and learn to
delegate. To delegate successfully you need your staff
to perform and execute skillfully. This is why effective
delegation must include both raising your staff’s capabilities
and supporting their learning. The manager’s
most powerful tool for that purpose is coaching, which
helps your employees perform competently and successfully.
Furthermore, mentoring helps guide an employee
down a path toward a meaningful career and deepens
the relationship between the manager and the employee.
In this workshop, we will focus on increasing the
coaching and mentoring skills of participants while
creating an experiential environment for active learning.
Participants will review and practice powerful tools
and processes to make coaching effective and practical
in the work environment.
Due to its short format, this workshop cannot be taken for Credit.
