  • Live Online Courses: Classes are held on Zoom at regularly scheduled times. Instructors lecture, engage students in discussion, and respond to questions just as they would in a physical classroom. Most instructors supplement the live sessions with readings, handouts, and assignments.

  • Flex Online Courses: These courses offer a variety of instructional materials available on demand in weekly modules (videos, readings, discussions, assignments); plus optional live meetings with the instructor and fellow students.   • On-Campus Courses: Courses are offered weeknights and weekends on the historic Stanford campus ranging from 1 day to 10 weeks.
